Monsters: Dark Continent writer is working on script Metal Gear movie
British writer Jay Basu is working on a script for the film version of the Metal Gear franchise. This reports Deadline.
Sony Pictures is the author of the films Monsters: Dark Continent and sports movie Fast Girls hired to write the script of the Metal Gear movie. Jordan Vogt-Roberts, best known for The Kings of Summer, would direct the film, while the creative chief of Marvel, Avi Arad, produces.
It is not known when the movie to appear. Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima hint for years for a film adaptation of the franchise, but production for the film has so far not got off the ground. There now seems possible change to come in.
